Jean Howard

Jean offers business consulting to non-profit organizations and small or medium businesses and career transition coaching for those who find themselves in unfulfilling positions. As a serial entrepreneur she understands the competing demands on entrepreneurs. Her deep experience with entrepreneurs includes designing and managing entrepreneurship programs at Fordham University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Over 20 companies have been launched through these programs – many of which continue to operate today.
Her consulting and coaching brings together business fundamentals and personal passions and talents. Her commitment is to co-create with her clients, a path to a fulfilling life – matching daily work with short term and long term goals through clarifying values and adjustments to resource allocation. Her clients receive tools for decision making for a sustainable business and life.
Jean holds degrees from Occidental College in Los Angeles (BA) and Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management (MBA). She has completed graduate studies in Theology at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and Education at Fairfield University. She is a certified coach through an International Coaching Federation Accredited Coach Training Program. Industries served throughout her career include, higher education,, defense
contractors, management consultants, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
She has served on many community boards and currently sits on the New York Interfaith Power and Light board advancing solar energy with houses of faith.

Sylke Chesterfield

Business Consultant & Executive Coach

Sylke’s business approach is informed by her multi-decade consulting experience with small business owners primarily in marketing and business development capacities. She has served domestic and international clients that operate in various industries, including medical, engineering, Government relations, legal and alternative energy. Highlights include development of a $3.2 M waste-to-energy project; securement of $985K in federal, local and state grant and low-interest loan funding; guidance through technical certification process; co-development of an expansive opposition research program for a multinational conglomerate.
Established in 1995, Sylke’s boutique consultancy now offers products, services and expertise for growing and established small businesses, including workshops, self-study courses, done-for-you and done-with-you services, as well as access to professional expertise – all with a focus on the needs of the independent small business owner who wants to implement strategies that move his or her business forward – without the overwhelm.
As a coach, Sylke works with decision-makers in the areas of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, effective communications and behavioral change. As she provides her clients with support, feedback and accountability, they report being more focused, productive, confident and successful as they see their businesses flourish and be more profitable.
Sylke attended State University of New York Empire State College for International Business and became a certified coach through an ICF-accredited coach training program in 2012.
