Sylke’s business approach is informed by her multi-decade consulting experience with small business owners primarily in marketing and business development capacities. She has served domestic and international clients that operate in various industries, including medical, engineering, Government relations, legal and alternative energy. Highlights include development of a $3.2 M waste-to-energy project; securement of $985K in federal, local and state grant and low-interest loan funding; guidance through technical certification process; co-development of an expansive opposition research program for a multinational conglomerate.
Established in 1995, Sylke’s boutique consultancy now offers products, services and expertise for growing and established small businesses, including workshops, self-study courses, done-for-you and done-with-you services, as well as access to professional expertise – all with a focus on the needs of the independent small business owner who wants to implement strategies that move his or her business forward – without the overwhelm.
As a coach, Sylke works with decision-makers in the areas of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, effective communications and behavioral change. As she provides her clients with support, feedback and accountability, they report being more focused, productive, confident and successful as they see their businesses flourish and be more profitable.
Sylke attended State University of New York Empire State College for International Business and became a certified coach through an ICF-accredited coach training program in 2012.
